Estate administration is the process of winding up a person's financial dealings after they die and then distributing that person's property to the people that inherit it.

Depending on the type of property the decedent owned and the way the property was titled, a probate proceeding may need to be initiated with the Clerk of Court, after which the Executor will need to prepare a comprehensive inventory of the decedent’s assets and file annual accounts with the court until the estate administration is finalized. This can be a complicated and time consuming process. We assist Executors by walking them through the estate administration process, preparing the necessary paperwork to have the Executor qualified to serve, running the notice to creditors, and preparing all inventories and accountings for the court.
